Oman Reopens Wadi al Hawasnah Road After Repair

The Omani Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT) reopened today, February 21st, the Wadi al Hawasnah road, in Khabourah, North Batinah, which was damaged during Cyclone Shaheen.

The road underwent major repairs at five locations on its entire stretch.
The government was working to repair 20 roads damaged by climatic conditions in all governorates, in order to provide a safe road network for motorists, and to ensure the sustainability of roads.
The Wadi al Hawasnah is the 15th road reopened, while the remaining five roads are set to be inaugurated in March.
