Oman’s athletes rocked the West Asian Athletics Championship in Basra, Iraq, snagging a gold, silver, and two bronzes!
Salim Bin Abdullah Al Rawahi soared to bronze in the men's long jump with a leap of 6.91 meters. Though Iraq's Abdullah Gamer clinched gold with 7.43 meters, and Ehab Yassine took silver at 7.03 meters, Al Rawahi's performance was stellar!
Meanwhile, sprinting sensation Mazoon Al Alawi earned bronze in the women's 100m hurdles, clocking in at 15.61 seconds. The gold went to Iraq’s Kurdistan Jamal (14.73 seconds), and Syria’s Al Yasar Yousfi Al Mohammed nabbed silver (14.87 seconds).
