Omani fans eager to support their national team in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in Iraq have received some welcome news.
The Oman Football Association (OFA) announced that Omani nationals traveling to Basra to attend the match against Iraq on September 5, 2024, will be exempted from visa fees.
According to a statement released by the OFA, this exemption applies to fans arriving by land or air between September 2 and September 5, 2024.
The announcement follows discussions with the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Baghdad, aimed at facilitating smoother travel for Omani supporters.
