Trade exchange between Oman and Saudi Arabia has climbed by 123 percent year on year (YoY) in 2022 hitting OMR2.7 billion.

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef said that the significant increase in trade confirms the joint interest for integration between the two countries.

He added that both nations have opportunities in the mining and logistics industries, which may supply the raw materials for basic products in both the countries.

As "a source of pride for the two countries and is considered a model for joint work," the minister described the relation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
