In a stunning display of growth, Oman's 3-5-star hotel revenues soared to OMR24,751 million by January's end, marking a remarkable 17.1% surge from the previous year.

Courtesy of the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), the numbers paint a vibrant picture: hotel guests surged by 20.5% to a whopping 215,660, with occupancy rates climbing by 16.2%.

Omani hospitality shines bright as locals top the guest list at 75,219, followed closely by 73,325 European visitors, up by 17.9%. The influx of Asian guests also spiked by 27.8% to 27,191.

The GCC and American guests join the cultural tapestry, while Oceanian and African visitors grace Oman's shores with a 4% and 38.8% rise, respectively.
