Oman's former national team player Abdul Salam bin Amer Al Mukhaini passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at the age of 37.
He was also a player for the Dhofar Club. He began his career with the national team in 2009 and played in 70 international matches.
He also participated in the qualifiers for the Asian Cup, the World Cup, and the Arabian Gulf Cup.
He previously played with Kuwait SC, Al-Raed SC, and the Bani Yas SC. Al Mukhaini also played with Orouba SC and Dhofar SC at home and won many titles with them.
He won the Omani Super Cup with Dhofar SC on Tuesday, Jan. 14. The football club expressed its condolences in an online statement, sharing that Al Mukhaini was a symbol of commitment and dedication during his time with the team.
