Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman, presided today, February 26th, over a celebration of Royal Oman Police (ROP) for the graduation of a new batch of female police.

The ceremony was held at Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences in the Wilayat of Nizwa, the Governorate of Ad Dakhiliyah.

The event was also attended by a number of members of the Royal family and the State Council, senior ROP officers, and a number of female education and health officials in Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate.

The graduates performed the Royal Oman Police anthem "Humat al-Haqq" and then took the oath of allegiance, followed by After that.

The young female police officers have been trained professionally to build their capabilities. They have become a symbol of success and struggle in various internal and external forums.

Nadia bint Abdul Wahhab Al-Zadjaliya, Director of the Criminal Laboratory, said: "This generous gesture by the Honourable Lady is an embodiment and confirmation of the generous support received by Omani women in general and the women police in particular by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

"This generous patronage is a source of pride for all female members of the Royal Oman Police and will have a prominent impact in sharpening their determination to serve this benevolent country with all seriousness and diligence."
