Oprah Winfrey Visited Morocco and Had a 'Soul-Filling Time'!
American talk show host Oprah Winfrey visited Morocco this month and spent two wonderful days indulging in the country's beautiful culture.
Oprah shared a video on Instagram on Saturday, Jul. 22, which featured her visiting the souqs in Morocco, listening and dancing to some fantastic traditional music, and tasting local delicacies.
In the caption, she wrote, "I spent two beautiful days in Marrakesh, Morocco, which wasn’t enough time to experience so much magnificent culture."
The highlight of the talk show host's trip was Souk Semmarine, one of the local souqs selling various products including jewellery, clothes, and souvenirs.
Oprah also visited the olive market and in the video, she is heard saying "Olives everywhere...this is more olives than I've ever seen in my life".
The video also features a carpet shop, where the rug-making process is revealed and the final product of that process, which left Oprah mesmerized.
Various celebrities responded to the video such as actress Fatima Zahra El Ibrahimi who commented, "You should come back and experience the diversity, culture, history and all the beauty Morocco has to offer."
