Pele, the "King of Football", passed away at the age of 82 on Thursday December 29th, 2022.
The Brazilian football legend was loved in the Arab World as much as anywhere around the globe. Fortunately for some, they got to see him play first hand when he toured the world with his football club Santos in 1973.
Among the countries he visited, were a few in the Middle East, including Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
