Pictures: Bella Hadid Joins Palestine Demonstration in NYC
American-Palestinian Supermodel Bella Hadid joined a protest in Bay Ridge in New York, USA in support Palestine on Saturday.
The beautiful model was wearing a traditional dress, a Keffiyeh, a face mask and waving a large Palestinian flag as she marched along with thousands of others.
Bella Hadid took to Instagram earlier that day to post a photo of her grandparents wedding day, along with an image of her father as a boy next to his seven siblings and mom.
She captioned the post “were taken out of their homes in Palestine in 1948 , becoming refugees in Syria, then Lebanon , then Tunisia.”
“I love my family, I love my Heritage , I love Palestine ❤️ I will stand strong to keep their hope for a better land in my heart. A better world for our people and the people around them. They can never erase our history. History is history !” she wrote.
Bella Hadid is a big supporter of Palestine just like her father, Mohamed Hadid who always makes sure to remind us of his Palestinian Heritage.
This is a picture of Bella from 4 years ago,
Recently, she posted an image on Instagram of herself and tears streaming down her face.
“You cannot allow yourself to be desensitized to watching human life being taken. You just can’t. Palestinian lives are the lives that will help change the world. And they are being taken from us by the second. #FreePalestine,” she wrote.
