The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) is setting the stage for a captivating November, with an exciting lineup of international performances and cultural events. Following a successful season kickoff, the iconic venue promises a variety of soul-stirring shows that span genres and experiences, keeping Oman’s cultural scene vibrant.

Kicking off the month is renowned Fado singer Cristina Branco on November 5. Known for her heartfelt performances, Branco brings the soulful sound of Portugal to life with "Mais que Fado." This one-night-only concert offers an intimate exploration of the emotional depths of love and loss through traditional Portuguese music.

Just a few days later, from November 7-9, ROHM hosts its annual military music festival, "Military Music: Oman and the World." This three-night event brings together Oman’s military and police bands with international acts from Jordan and Austria, offering a dynamic blend of drumming, pipes, light displays, and military pageantry on the opera house's outdoor stage.

On November 14, the open-air concert series welcomes back Emirati superstar Ahlam, who is set to perform a selection of her most beloved songs. Her captivating stage presence promises a night of musical magic under the stars, sure to sell out quickly.

Jazz lovers can look forward to a special treat with two nights of smooth tunes from acclaimed artist Anthony Strong, joined by the Latvian Radio Big Band on November 28 and 29. Expect classics from jazz legends like Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra, alongside Strong's original pieces, for an evening that celebrates the timeless allure of jazz.

In addition to musical performances, ROHM’s educational initiatives offer enriching experiences throughout the month. The opera house launches two new programs aimed at inspiring young readers and theatre enthusiasts. On November 6 and 7, selected Muscat schools will enjoy a special presentation of "Geronimo Stilton," including a workshop on character creation for children.

The magic continues on November 16 with "Let's Read," a theatrical storytelling event that brings "Beauty and the Beast" to life, building anticipation for January 2025’s ice show adaptation.

To round out the month, the second installment of Lunch Music takes place on November 30 at the Opera Galleria, featuring arias from La Fille du Régiment performed by singers from the Opéra de Monte-Carlo.

With a rich mix of concerts, educational programs, and cultural events, the Royal Opera House Muscat is dedicated to engaging audiences of all ages and fostering a lifelong love of the arts. Tickets for all performances are available on the ROHM website, app, or at the box office.
