Saudi Arabia and Oman have discussed the possibility of issuing a unified tourism visa in the near future, in order to increase tourism between the two brotherly nations.

This discussion came during the visit of Saudi Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb to Oman.
In addition, the two brotherly courtiers also agreed on the launch of a number of joint tourism initiatives and programs aimed at attracting international tourists, citizens and expatriates of the GCC countries.
These initiatives are expected to include a number of seasonal trips between the two countries, and launching a joint tourism calendar.
According to the latest data, approximately 164,000 tourists came to the kingdom from Oman during the first three months of this year with a growth rate of 136 percent over the same period in 2022.
Also, approximately 49,000 Omani tourists visited Saudi Arabia in the first quarter of 2023, with a growth rate of 92 percent from the same period in 2022.
