Sergio Perez Signs a New Two-Year Contract with Red Bull

Mexican F1 driver Sergio Pérez has signed a new two-year contract with Red Bull. 

Pérez joined Red Bull in 2022 and his current contract was set to expire in 2024, but the team signed a new contract with him. 

The Mexican F1 driver has won five achieved five Grand Prix victories with Red Bull and has helped the team win two Constructors' Championships in 2022 and 2023. 

In the 2023 season, Pérez finished second, behind his teammate Max Verstappen. In the ongoing F1 season, Perez has gained 107 points and ranks fifth in the 2024 driver standings.

In the recent Monaco Grand Prix, the Mexican F1 driver did not finish the race after his car crashed in the first lap of the race. 

The news of Perez's extension with Red Bull comes after the news of Esteban Ocon leaving Alpine at the end of the 2024 season.
