Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the third time on Sunday, May 26.
The team won the league with an eight-wicket victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
The team celebrated with their trophy and a prize money of Rs. 20 crores.
Sunrisers Hyderabad opted to bat first, but they were only able to score 113 runs, which KKR beat with their score of 114 runs.
KKR's Ventakesh Iyer scored a fantastic half-century that helped the team win the match. All-rounder Andre Russell clinched three important wickets that helped the team secure their win.
The team's owner Shah Rukh Khan also celebrated the team's win with his family that was present there including his wife Gauri Khan and his children Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, and Abram Khan.
'The Archies' star Suhana Khan's friends Bollywood actress Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor were also present at the match to celebrate the victory.
