Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex to Host AFC Cup Finals

Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex will host the AFC Cup finals for the 2023/2024 sports season this May!
The final match will be between Lebanon’s Al Ahed and Australia’s Central Coast Mariners.
Al Ahed qualified for the finals when they won a match against Oman's Al Nahda with a score of 2-3.
Central Coast Mariners qualified for the finals after winning against Kyrgyzstan's Abdish-Ata Kant with a score of 1-4.
The Olympic Council of Asia has designated the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex an international sports complex and the stadium has hosted various important tournaments and matches.
The sports complex hosted the 13th Arabian Gulf Cup in 1996 and the 19th Arabian Gulf Cup in 2009. The sports complex has also hosted the Men's Asian Champions Trophy of field hockey in 2018.
