The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) recovered the bodies of a husband and wife who had died after being swept away by an overflowing wadi in the wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali on Wednesday.

The overflowing wadis have cut off roads in some parts of the governate of Al Sharqiyah after torrential rains hit the wilayat.
