The Ned Doha to Open in November
We have wonderful news for everyone who once lived in London or is simply familiar with Soho House: The Ned will open in Doha the following month.
The Ned Doha, housed inside the former Ministry of the Interior building, will have 90 guestrooms and 12 suites, all of which have balconies outside, seven dining establishments, a gym, a spa, and a 30-meter outdoor pool.
The bottom floor atrium is designed after The Ned London and features a live performance platform in the middle, surrounded by restaurants.
Members can visit Millie's on the first floor or Ned's Club Upstairs, while diners can visit Cecconi's, Kaia, Nickel Lounge, and The Electric Diner.
The rooftop area is decorated in warm woods, statement furniture, and warm woods with a view of West Bay and the Diwan that is reminiscent of the elegance of the 1970s.
Other eateries to keep an eye out for at The Ned Doha include Hadika, a shady outdoor garden serving Levantine mezze family-style, and Malibu Kitchen, a California-inspired outdoor venue available year-round (with air conditioning, of course).
Ned's Club Spa and Gym is also located on the rooftop, so you can unwind or work out while enjoying the view.
The club pool, which also has terrazzo flooring and daybeds with green and white striped patterns, is only accessible to hotel guests and members.
By visiting The Ned's website here or sending an email to membership.doha@thened.com, you can make a reservation or register for membership right away.
For founders, global membership begins at US$6,500 with no joining cost; for everyone else, it rises to $7,500 with a $1,000 joining fee.
The Ned Doha is the third location for the company, which also has The Ned NoMad in New York, which just debuted this year, and The Ned London, which first opened in 2017.

The Chedi Katara is to open this November
We have been eagerly (and not-so-patiently) waiting to check in ever since The Chedi announced it would establish a hotel in Katara last year.
And now, with the project being scheduled to debut in November 2022, that time is rapidly approaching.
The Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort, which is situated on a 66,000-square-meter property, will provide 59 guestrooms and 32 villas.
As part of The Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort, guests will also be able to eat at Marsa Katara.
Given that the opulent hotel's design was influenced by Mughal architecture, we have a hunch that you'll be seeing this location on your Instagram very soon.
When you enter The Lobby Lounge, you'll notice lofty ceilings and a giant window that provides unobstructed views of the beach and water below.
