The long-awaited weekend of King Charles's coronation has finally arrived, bringing with the arrival of Arab rulers, queens, and princesses to London. The coronation will take place at Westminster Abbey on May 6th.
 

Compared to the nearly 8,200 people who witnessed the coronation of the late Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, around 2,200 have been invited to attend the coronation of King Charles III.

Following is a list of those from the Middle East who have so far confirmed to attend the coronation:

1. 

The King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa will attend the Coronation on behalf of his family.

2. 

King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan.

3. 

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court UAE, will attend the Coronation on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

4. 

Theyazin bin Haitham, Crown Prince of Oman to represent his father Sultan Haitham bin Tariq at the Coronation on Saturday.

5. 

Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, The Crown Prince of Kuwait 

6. 

The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim ibn Hamad Al Thani is a confirmed guest for King Charles's Coronation.
