The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested 36 individuals for crossing valleys in Al Dakhiliyah and endangering their lives and other people's as well.
The legal procedures are being carried out against these individuals, however, the penalties they will face remain unknown.
The heavy rainfall has caused flooding in various parts of Oman, which has endangered lives and caused various accidents.
Four individuals were swept away in a valley in Izki, but three of them were rescued, while one woman amongst them was found dead.

A family of seven was also rescued in Al Dhahirah after their vehicle got stuck in a valley in Ibri.
Another case involved an individual who was trapped in a vehicle that was stuck in a stream in Sinaw. The individual was eventually rescued and brought to safety.
The authorities in Oman have requested the people in the Sultanate to take all necessary precautions during these terrible weather conditions.
