Muscat Municipality has launched the third phase of its traffic study to improve road conditions and ease congestion across the city. This critical initiative is designed to make commuting smoother and more efficient for Muscat's growing population.

International Firm to Lead Study

The municipality has hired Dar Al Handasah, an international consulting firm, to conduct the study over the next 433 days. Their work will focus on a detailed analysis of Muscat’s road network, identifying problem areas, and finding solutions for better traffic flow.

Key Goals of the Traffic Study

The study will focus on several key objectives. First, it will monitor current traffic conditions across Muscat.
