Two Earthquakes Reported in Al Fujairah

Two minor earthquakes have been recorded in Fujairah early Monday. The National Centre of Meteorology wrote a tweet about the event, which added that no damages or injuries were reported.

The centre calrified that that first earthquake struck Dibba Al Fujairah with a 3.1-magnitude quake at a depth at 5 km at 4:54 am, while a second quake measuring 2.3 on the Richer scale was recorded in the same region at 7:24 am.

"Fresh winds reaching 40 km/hr causing blowing dust and reducing the horizontal visibility to less than 1500 m over some coastal and internal areas from 10:30 until 19:00 Monday 24/05/2021." said the centre about the weather on Monday.
