UAE Named 2nd Safest Country in the World in 2023

The United Arab Emirates has been named the second safest country in the world in 2023 with a safety index of 84.9, according to Numbeo, the world's largest database of user-contributed data about cities and countries worldwide.
UAE was not the only Arab country on the list, as it was preceded by Qatar in 1st place, and followed by Oman in 5th, Bahrain in 10th, and Saudi Arabia in 12th, to round up a strong presence for the Gulf nations.

4. Isle Of Man
5. Oman
6. Hong Kong (China)
7. Armenia
8. Japan
9. Switzerland
10. Bahrain
11. Slovenia
12. Saudi Arabia

15. Iceland
The Safety Index is calculated based on surveys that are taken of the residents from these countries. UAE's ranking shows that the fear of robbery and vandalism is the lowest in the country and that UAE is considered to be a very safe place when it comes to walking in the streets at night.
