UAE Ranked as One of The Top 20 Countries for Expats

According to a new survey by the global expat community network, InterNations, the UAE has been ranked among the world's top 20 countries for expatriates to live and work in. 

The UAE ranked 18th in the Expat Insider 2021 study, which involved over 12,400 respondents living in 186 countries or territories.

The survey revealed that residents in the UAE are happy with the quality of life and the ease of settling in, in addition to safety and security aspects as well as travel and transportation options.

Ninety-three per cent of respondents also said it's easy to live in the UAE without speaking the local language.

Overall, Taiwan came out on top as the best place for expats to live in, followed by Mexico, Costa Rica, Malaysia and Portugal.

The UAE has done a lot of things towards facilitating workers life in the UAE such as UAE Golden Visa.

The UAE’s 10-year golden residency visa scheme was expanded to include professionals in more categories.

Those categories include PhD degree holders, Doctors, Engineers, Highly Qualified Individuals, Researches/Scientists, Inventors, Artist, Investors.
