Car owners who abandon their dirty vehicles on the streets can expect a AED 3,000 fine. The Abu Dhabi City Municipality said vehicles will be impounded if repeated warnings are ignored.

It's part of efforts by the authorities to keep the cityscape clean.

The authority added that hundreds of dirty and abandoned cars were impounded following checks in various areas, including Musaffah industrial area, Mafraq, Baniyas, Al Wathba and nearby areas.

On the other hand, drivers can pay their traffic fines in Dubai in instalments. Dubai Police have inked agreements with several banks allowing their credit cardholders to settle the fines without incurring interest or any additional charges.

Major Dr. Abdullah Yasser Amiri, Director of Revenue Department at Dubai Police, shared the details with ARN News.
