Dubai International Airport's (DXB) Terminal 1 and Concourse D are back in action after closing for 15 months. Operations were suspended last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the arrival of flynas flight XY201 from Riyadh on Thursday morning, the travel hub welcomed it’s first passengers.

Linked to Terminal 1 by an airport train, the $1.2 billion Concourse D, opened in February 2016 as the home terminal of DXB's 65 plus international carriers.
Dubai Airports Chief Executive said they will hire about 3,500 staff to keep up with the expected rise in traffic in the coming months.
Its reopening will see the phased return of these carriers over the next few days from Terminals 2 and 3, as the hub prepares for an anticipated increase in traffic during the summer holidays and beyond.
