Muttrah Fort announced that it will be installing an electric elevator to make the historic fort more accessible to everyone. The fort has seen a significant increase in visitors in recent years, with over 37,000 people visiting in 2022 compared to just over 8,000 in 2021.
The elevator will make it easier for people of all abilities to enjoy the fort, and it is expected to be completed in the next few months.
