Your One-Week Trip to Qatar Guide
Qatar, which is fundamentally a peninsula, has a lot to offer, combining the finest of heritage and elegance.
Please be aware that this itinerary only includes a small portion of all the things you can do when visiting Qatar. This itinerary can be used as a starting point for customizing your vacation to your interests.
Day 1 - National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ)
The NMoQ is home to a variety of exhibits and artifacts that vividly depict Qatar's past. You could easily stay here all day. There is a ton to do for both adults and children.
In addition to viewing the museum, you may take a break and eat at one of the on-site eateries like Jiwan, Desert Rose Cafe, or Thalatheen, or even explore the nearby restaurants.
You might plan your trip and reserve tickets online or buy them when you get there.
Day 2 – Northside adventure
Once you've had a good night's sleep, you may leave on your second day and go to the outskirts of Doha to take part in a historical sightseeing excursion by going to Zubarah Fort in the morning.
Continue to the Al Jumail Fishing Village to travel back in time to Qatar's early years. Before continuing, this would be the perfect place to start a picnic by the peaceful waters. This place is guarded. Do not take the ruins with you or pick them up.
Day 3 – Thrill Day
Shahaniyah Camel Race
For a day of camel racing, head to the Shahaniyah Camel Race track in Dukhan. Get a behind-the-scenes look at camel training, camel encounters, and picture shoots while experiencing the thrill of driving at fast speeds and keeping up with the camels. Every year, the camel racing season lasts from October until April.
Day 4 - Sealine Regency Camp
Without experiencing desert camping, a trip to Qatar will be lacking. Visit Sealine Regency Camp for a day trip or an overnight stay. It is located along one of Qatar's favorite coastal routes and offers all the comforts you need without sacrificing the character of the country's traditions.
Day 5 – City glory
Start the day with breakfast at The Pearl-Qatar. Next, take a stroll through the alleys of Qanat Quartier, where the vibrant architecture will make for some of the most beautiful photos. Don't skip stopping by the piano stairs for some quick entertainment.
Day 6 – The Souq & Corniche Experience
Dhow Ride
If you go down the Corniche, you will come across several dhow vendors who will try to sell you a spectacular dhow ride. Negotiate carefully! For a 20-minute ride, your ride should normally cost between QR 20 and 30 per person; if you travel with a group, you may be eligible for a larger discount.
Day 7 - Sports City Tour (Aspire Zone)
3-2-1 Olympic & Sports Museum
Al Waab is home to Aspire Zone, commonly known as Sports City. Numerous sporting facilities, including the renowned Khalifa International Stadium, are located in the region. Visit the distinctive 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, which is devoted to historic sporting displays, to round off your trip to Qatar.
