Prepare for pedal power as the Tour of Oman gears up for its 13th edition, promising an exhilarating showcase of athleticism and endurance against the stunning backdrop of the Sultanate of Oman. With five stages covering a total distance of 867.4 kilometers, this prestigious cycling event is set to captivate audiences worldwide.

From February 10th to February 14th, cyclists will embark on a challenging journey through varied terrain and breathtaking landscapes, pushing themselves to the limit in pursuit of victory. The action-packed course will feature thrilling climbs, including the iconic ascent to Jabal Al Akhdhar, also known as Green Mountain, on February 14th.

Stage 1 kicks off the tour on Saturday, February 10th, with riders traversing 181.5 kilometers from the Oman Across Ages Museum to the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center. This stage presents sprinters with a golden opportunity to showcase their speed and prowess on the road.

Stage 2, on Sunday, February 11th, will see cyclists journey from As Sifah to Qurayyat, covering a distance of 170.5 kilometers. As the peloton navigates challenging routes and scenic landscapes, spectators can expect a thrilling display of skill and determination.

Monday, February 12th, brings Stage 3, as riders tackle the route from Bid Bid to Eastern Mountain, spanning 169.5 kilometers. Stage 4, scheduled for Tuesday, February 13th, will take cyclists from Al Rustaq Fort to Yitti Hills, covering a distance of 207.5 kilometers.

The tour culminates on Wednesday, February 14th, with Stage 5, featuring the epic Imty to Jabal al Akhdhar (Green Mountain) route, spanning 139 kilometers. This challenging ascent promises to be a defining moment in the race, as cyclists battle it out for supremacy.

The Tour of Oman has long been a magnet for top-tier riders from around the globe, attracting cycling's brightest stars to compete in one of the sport's most prestigious events. Past editions have seen the crowning of champions such as Fabian Cancellara, Vincenzo Nibali, and Chris Froome, cementing the tour's status as a must-watch event for cycling enthusiasts worldwide.
