The award-winning Chinese restaurant has launched a new all-you-can eat lunch menu featuring creative Dim Sum and authentic flavours

Abu Dhabi, 10 February 2021 – Shang Palace restaurant at Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi invites all foodies in the capital to test their photography skills and take the best picture of their new Dim Sum menu for a chance of winning a Staycation for two and other prizes.

There are over one thousand Dim Sum dishes in existence today and Shang Palace might have one of the most instagrammable Dim Sum in the region, filled with authentic Cantonese flavours and carefully crafted by master Dim Sum chefs.  The new lunch menu features a diverse range of traditional Dim Sum, Soup and wok dishes, as well as variations designed for visual appeal on social media, such as pear-shaped deep-fried crispy BBQ Chicken Puffs, steamed wild Mushroom Buns with Chicken and Oyster sauce, steamed “Cheng feng” crispy Waffle Scallop and Shrimp rolls in the form of a Sushi Roll and more.

To enter the competition, guests must order the new Dim Sum menu at Shang Palace, snap a picture of their favourite food item, post it on their Instagram feed and as a story, using

#DimSumChallenge and tagging ShangriLaAbuDhabi.  The month-long competition will run from 10 February to 10 March 2021, and the winners will be selected from tagged photos on Instagram.  The unlimited Dim Sum lunch, priced at AED138 (food only) or AED168 including tea and soft beverages, is available daily from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Shang Palace restaurant in Abu Dhabi.  See the menu.
