Civil Defence Teams on the Scene

The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) confirmed the incident in a statement:

“Rescue teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Dhofar Governorate responded at dawn today to the collapse of a building under construction in Salalah. The accident resulted in the death of one person and the injury of three others, with injuries ranging from moderate to critical.”

Injuries and Ongoing Rescue Efforts

Of the three injured individuals, medical teams have reported varying degrees of trauma, with some requiring urgent care. Rescue efforts continued through the morning to ensure no additional victims remained trapped in the debris.
