Diljit Dosanjh to be Part of 'Border 2'

Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has joined the cast of 'Border 2', which is the sequel to the hit 1997 film 'Border'. 

Dosanjh revealed the news by sharing a clip on Instagram. In the caption, he wrote, "Honoured to stand with such a powerful team 🇮🇳🙏🏻 and walk in the footsteps of our Soldiers!"

The news comes after Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan recently revealed that he will be part of the film alongside Sunny Deol. 

The film is expected to be released on Jan. 23, 2026. The film will be directed by Anurag Singh, while JP Dutta, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta will produce it. 

According to media reports, the long-awaited sequel will be set during the Battle of Longewala and shooting for the film will start in October this year.
