Heavy Rainfall Expected in These Governorates of Oman

A heavy rainfall is expected to hit the mountainous areas of the Omani South Al Batinah, Al Dakhiliyah and North Al Sharqiyah governorates on Monday from 12 pm to 9 pm, said Oman Meteorology.
"Heavy rain ranging between 10-20 mm, may cause downdraft winds of 20-40 knots along with poor horizontal visibility due to dust rising during thunderstorms, and chances of overflowing valleys," Oman Meteorology added.
People have been urged by Oman Meteorology to avoid low-lying regions and refrain from swimming in valleys.
