Oman & Qatar Support Palestine with Written Statements to ICJ

In support of the Palestine, the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Qatar submitted a written plea on the issue of war crimes against Palestinians, and have flagged their concerns to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague.

According to Qatar, the ICJ must determine that Israel's duties under international law obligate them to promptly end its illegal occupation and compensate fully for the damage and suffering inflicted by the occupation to the Palestinian people.

The Sultanate of Oman emphasizes the need of the international community to take responsibility to put a stop to Israeli settlements and the intention that they must annex areas of occupied Palestinian territory. The statement also emphasizes the need to preserve Jerusalem's historical, legal, and religious position.

Therefore, in order to protect the rights of the Palestinian people and prevent the Israeli occupation authority from committing crimes against them, the Palestinian state will follow the rules and principles of international law.
