In addition to launching the new airline, Oman plans to build six new airports, expected to be operational between 2028 and 2029. This expansion will increase the total number of airports in the country to 13, enhancing domestic aviation and boosting tourism.

Future Projections

With these developments, Oman anticipates a significant increase in airport passenger traffic. The number of passengers is projected to rise from the current 17 million to 50 million by 2040.
