Oman Announces Ramadan Working Hours for Pub. & Pvt. Sectors
The country has announced the working hours for Ramadan 2025.

As Ramadan is expected to begin this weekend, Oman has announced the working hours for the public and private sectors.
The standard working hours for units working under the civil administrative apparatus of the state will be five hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Heads of the units can implement flexible working schedules for government employees; schedules between 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. can be implemented, based on each employee's work requirements and arrival and departure times.
Remote work will be implemented for eligible positions, however, the department's head needs to ensure that 50 percent of their staff maintains their attendance in the workplace.
On the other hand, in the private sector, Muslim employees will have to work for six hours per day, a maximum of 30 hours per week.
Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar and is expected to begin on Saturday, Mar. 1.
