The Sultanate of Oman has made it clear that it strongly rejects any attempts to displace the residents of the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories. Oman’s stance is unwavering, emphasizing the importance of respecting the Palestinian people’s right to establish their own independent state on their land.
In a recent statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oman warned that any efforts to transfer Palestinians from their lands would be a direct violation of international law and resolutions of international legitimacy. The government highlighted that such actions not only breach legal standards but also pose a significant threat to the security and stability of the entire region.
Oman has also called upon the international community to step up and take responsibility for protecting the rights of the Palestinian people. The country stresses that a fair and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue must be achieved. This solution, according to Oman, should be based on international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
Oman envisions a future where a sovereign Palestinian state is established along the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem (Al Quds A’Sharqiyah) as its capital.
The country’s strong position sends a clear message to the world about the importance of respecting Palestinian rights and working toward peace and stability in the Middle East.
