Oman is bracing for a spell of unsettled weather as a low-pressure trough is set to sweep across the region from Tuesday, December 24, to Thursday, December 26, 2024.

Oman Meteorology forecasts cloud formations and scattered rainfall of varying intensity across multiple governorates, including Musandam, North and South Al Batinah, Muscat, and South Al Sharqiyah.

What to Expect

Tuesday & Wednesday (Dec 24-25):

  • Moderate rainfall (5-15 mm) in Musandam, North and South Al Batinah, Muscat, and parts of Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.
  • Winds reaching speeds of 10-20 knots, adding to the breezy vibe.

Thursday (Dec 26):

  • Rain showers intensify across Musandam, North and South Al Batinah, Muscat, South Al Sharqiyah, Al Dakhiliyah, and the Al Hajar Mountains.
  • Gusts of wind (10-20 knots) are also on the forecast.
