A Unique Collaboration
The event is a collaboration between the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association and Bahrain’s Embassy in Oman. With 30 exhibitors participating, including 17 from Oman and 13 from Bahrain, the bazaar offers a wide range of products. Visitors can explore traditional clothing, perfumes, accessories, handmade crafts, and local sweets that reflect the beauty and diversity of both cultures.
Supporting Entrepreneurs and Strengthening Ties
One of the main goals of the Omani-Bahraini Bazaar is to strengthen the economic and cultural ties between Oman and Bahrain. The event not only offers a platform for showcasing products but also supports entrepreneurs and small businesses from both countries. This initiative aims to create job opportunities, boost trade partnerships, and contribute to the economic growth of both nations.
Al Kaabi, the Ambassador of Bahrain to Oman, emphasized that the event highlights Bahrain’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurship. He also noted that the bazaar builds on the strong diplomatic relations between the two countries, especially following the recent visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Oman in January.
A Step Towards Economic Development
Rudaina bint Amer Al Hajriyah, Chairwoman of the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association, expressed that this bazaar is the result of successful collaboration between the embassy and the association. She also highlighted how the event aligns with both Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and Oman Vision 2040. By promoting entrepreneurship and supporting SMEs, the bazaar plays a key role in stimulating economic and commercial activity between the two countries.
The Omani-Bahraini Bazaar is running until March 26, giving visitors plenty of time to experience the unique products and vibrant culture on display. Whether you’re looking for traditional souvenirs, exploring local crafts, or supporting small businesses, this event is a perfect way to immerse yourself in the dynamic relationship between Oman and Bahrain.
