When thinking of tuna pasta, most minds go to a white creamy sauce. But not this recipe. This pasta dish is made with tomato sauce and canned tuna. This recipe is quick, delicious, and perfect for Ramadan dinners.

  • Ingredients of Tuna Pasta

Tuna Pasta

4 tomatoes
½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 green bell pepper
3 tbsp tomato paste
½ a pack of spaghetti
1 tsp pepper
2 cans of tuna
2 tbsp salt
1 chicken stock cube

  1. Prepare the Sauce

    In a blender or a food processor, mix in the tomatoes, cilantro, and green bell pepper until smooth. Cook the sauce in a hot oiled pan over medium-high heat. Then, add in the tomato paste, salt, pepper, and chicken stock cube. let it all simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Cook the Pasta

    In a pan, add boiling water, some vegetable oil and salt. Boil the pasta until al dente.
  3. Add the Tuna and Cooked Pasta

    Add the canned tuna to your simmering sauce along with the cooked pasta. Stir everything all together carefully and et voila – you are good to go!
