Sultan Haitham Performs Eid Prayers at Sultan Qaboos Mosque

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik performed Eid prayers at the Sultan Qaboos mosque on the first day of Eid Al Fitr on Monday, Mar. 31.
The Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Dr Mohammed bin Said Al Maamari, led the prayers and delivered a heartwarming sermon.
After the Eid prayers, HM Sultan Haitham accepted Eid greetings from the public gathered at the mosque.
The Artillery of the Royal Army of Oman fired a 21-gun salute in honor of His Majesty after he departed from the Sultan Qaboos Mosque.
A canon was fired in Fanja in celebration of the first day of Eid Al Fitr and the public gathered in the streets to exchange the traditional greetings amongst each other upon the joyous occassion.
