Recently, Emirates Airline was voted the 'Best Airline Worldwide' for the eighth consecutive time by the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2021.

The Dubai-based carrier also took the honours for 'Airline with the Best First Class', and 'Airline with Best Economy Class'.

We can imagine the amount of effort and attention to detail that goes into making the passengers experience unparalleled.

To make sure everything is of the finest quality, Emirates cabin crew go into a lot of training, but there are also many perks for all the hard work.

So here is a breakdown of their pays and benefits:

Layover allowance

The night of the stop, staff are given meal allowances in the country’s currency. The amount of money differs from one country to another.

The company provides Hotel accommodation as well as transport to and from the airport.

Salary

All cabin crew members receive a basic salary of AED4,260 per month. Just like any other job, the basic salary can increase with experience and the number of years spent with the company.

Accommodation allowance

Furnished accommodations are provided by the compant and inclusive of water and electricity bills. *TV, Internet and telephone bills are not included.

You will be given an allowance of AED50k-70k per year to spend on rent (subject to your ranking), if you decide to live outside company accommodation then.

Staff can budget their fixed allowance as they see fit.

Flying Pay

The starting flying pay is AED61.25 per hour

Since the pandemic, average flying hours have decreased to 50 hours per month and can be more subject to your ranking and position.

Transport

Transportation is provided by the company to/from work and to/from Training College.

30-day annual leaves + 1 free annual leave ticket is provided to your country of origin
