Sheer Khurma Ingredients

1/3 cup chopped nuts
2 tbsp ghee
100 g of roasted vermicelli, broken into small pieces
4 cups milk
1/2 cup cream
1-2 cardamoms
2 tbsp kewra water
6tbsp sugar

  1. Toast Nuts

    Heat the ghee in a heavy deep bottom pan. Toast the nuts in the ghee until they become brown, stirring continuously to avoid burning. Remove from pan and set aside.
  2. Toast Vermicelli

    In the same pan, add the vermicelli. Toast it on a medium heat, stirring continuously until the vermicelli becomes golden.
  3. Make Sheer Khurma

    Add the rest of the ingredients to the vermicelli, excluding the nuts. Stir in the ingredients properly and cook on medium heat until the milk thickens. When the sheer khurma has taken on the desired consistency, remove it from the heat.
  4. Garnish and Serve

    Pour the vermicelli into serving bowls and garnish with toasted nuts, then serve.
