A 9-Year-Old Dubai-Based DJ is the Youngest DJ in The World

A talented 9-year-old girl based in Dubai reaches an international level becoming the world’s youngest DJ after competing in the 2021 DMC World DJ Championship.

Michelle Rasul placed 14 out of 85 in the ‘Portablist’ category and aims to beat her dad who placed 9^th in the championship.

When she turned 5 years old, the Azerbaijan musician said she wanted to become a world-famous DJ, and the story started there.

The super talented DJ says she never liked listening to children’s songs or music “I listened to Tupcs, Chuck D, Jay-Z, B.I.G”

Michelle’s mother is a former violinist, and her father is a professional DJ known DJ Shock.

Before the pandemic Michelle was DJing in some events in Dubai, but now she’s focusing on finishing 3^rd grade.
