The Embassy warned that overstaying a visa or traveling on a visa that does not match the actual purpose of the visit can lead to complications. Specifically, individuals who overstay their visa may be prohibited from leaving India until they secure an exit visa. Obtaining this exit visa can take at least three days and may incur fees exceeding OMR 100.
