It’s time to mark your calendars! Oman has officially announced the Eid Al-Fitr holidays for 1446 AH, giving employees in both the public and private sectors a well-deserved break to celebrate the end of Ramadan.
The holiday will kick off on Saturday, March 29, 2025, with the exact return-to-work date depending on the moon sighting, which determines when Eid officially begins.
Two Possible Scenarios

If Eid falls on Sunday, March 30, work will resume on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

If Eid starts on Monday, March 31, employees will return to work on Sunday, April 6, 2025, extending the break to nearly a full week!
