Guys Pearce Wears 'Free Palestine' Pin at 2025 Oscars

Australian actor Guy Pearce wore a 'Free Palestine' pin at the 2025 Oscars on Sunday, Mar. 2.
'The Brutalist' actor wore a pin featuring a white dove holding an olive branch with the phrase 'Free Palestine' on it.
The actor was nominated for the 'Best Supporting Actor' award at the Academy Awards, which was hosted at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Pearce has been wearing similar pins during several public appearances since last year. A controversy occurred during the 2024 Cannes Film Festival when Vanity Fair France photoshopped his pin out of his photograph at the event.
It was big night for the Palestinian cause because the Palestinian-Israeli documentary film 'No Other Land' won the 'Best Documentary' award.
