These Oman Airports Shine in Customer Experience Awards 2023

Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport have clinched prestigious accolades, solidifying their positions as leading airports in the Middle East for customer experience in 2023.

The Airports Council International (ACI), in collaboration with Amadeus, a prominent technology solutions provider for the travel industry, unveiled the remarkable achievements of these Omani airports.

Muscat International Airport secured the title of the best airport in the Middle East for customer experience in the category of 15-20 million passengers, while Salalah Airport claimed the coveted award in the category of two million passengers.

Salalah Airport's triumph extended further, with additional recognitions including the most dedicated airport employees, smoothest airport procedures, best pleasant airports, and highest cleanliness standards in the Middle East across all categories.

These accolades underscore the relentless efforts of Oman Airports in alignment with the visionary initiatives of the Sultanate of Oman, guided by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. The development of the air transport sector is pivotal in Oman Vision 2040, and the airports' success reflects the strategic investments in enhancing transportation infrastructure.

The global recognition received by Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport follows an extensive evaluation process conducted by passengers as part of the renowned Airport Service Quality (ASQ) awards. With over 400 participating airports worldwide, ASQ surveys capture insights on more than 30 performance indicators, offering comprehensive feedback on the passenger experience journey.

The success of Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport underscores their commitment to excellence and reinforces Oman's position as a hub of world-class aviation services, setting a benchmark for customer satisfaction in the Middle East.
